About the art:
“Strong enough as is was a stream of consciousness sketch and shows the fluid line work origins of my Abstract figures before bold colours are added. After a few markings I felt the composition was strong enough and on the original sheet of paper underneath the drawing I penciled “Strong enough as is” indicating that nothing else needed to be added to the composition. Similarly, though it can be tempting (and fun) to add more, sometimes it is good to acknowledge that we are all strong enough and good enough as we are.” - Cynthia Howard
